I’m Just a Girl publishes practical editorial guidance on style, travel and everyday living. We aim to help readers narrow a decision, prepare a useful checklist and understand the compromises behind a purchase or itinerary. Examples illustrate possible situations; they do not establish that a member of our editorial desk personally experienced them.
Research and sources
We favour official tourism organisations, transport operators, manufacturers and other primary sources for facts about services and products. Source links appear where useful. Schedules, opening arrangements, prices and product availability can change, so readers should confirm important details with the provider.
We avoid fixed price promises and numerical product ratings without a documented basis. Editorial preferences such as a comfortable pace, a versatile shape or a manageable packing list are judgements, not measured performance claims.
Experience and testing
We do not describe a product as personally tested, a hotel as personally stayed in or a journey as personally taken without a documented basis. Most guides combine published research and practical scenario analysis. We do not fabricate biographies, testimonials, visitor statistics or commercial partnerships.
Photography
Our photography is independently sourced stock imagery used to illustrate the subject. It may show a general setting rather than the exact product, neighbourhood or itinerary described. Image captions and alt text describe what is visible. Photography is not a claim of endorsement or a personal visit.

Publication dates reflect the release of the articles on this site. An updated date changes when substantive article revisions are made. We do not use an artificial publishing history to imply years of operation.
